Max-U Barber Salon – Reschedule & Cancellation Policy Effective February 2026

Your appointment is reserved especially for you, and we value your time as much as we value our barbers’ schedules. Unexpected events happen, and we understand—but last-minute changes or no-shows prevent other clients from booking. To keep things fair for everyone, we kindly ask all clients to follow this policy.

Key Policy Details

  • Cancellation/Rescheduling Window: Free changes or cancellations are allowed with at least 1 hour notice before your appointment time.
  • Late Cancellation or No-Show Fee: If you cancel, reschedule, or miss your appointment with less than 1 hour notice (or fail to show up), a $5 cancellation fee will be charged (equivalent to a portion of the reserved service price). This applies regardless of the reason.
  • Payment to Hold Appointment: A debit or credit card is required to secure your reservation.
  • No Refunds on Fees: Cancellation fees and prepaid deposits (if any) are non-refundable.
  • Substitute Allowed: If you can’t attend, feel free to send someone else in your place using your reserved slot—no extra charge.
  • Salon-Initiated Changes: If we need to cancel or reschedule (e.g., due to illness or emergency), you’ll have the option to rebook with another barber or receive a full waiver of any fees.

Reminders

As a courtesy, we send a reminder email and/or text approximately 45 minutes before your appointment. However, it remains your responsibility to confirm and remember your appointment time to avoid fees.

  1. Preferred Method: Use our online booking system at maxubarbersalon.com/appointment to cancel your existing slot and book a new one (available for changes outside the 2-hour window).
